Terms of Vehicle Purchase:
By engaging our services, you agree to our terms and conditions, regardless of whether you have read them. Vehicles sourced through us are not in our possession initially. The assessment of these
vehicles is conducted by third parties in Japan. We can arrange for additional inspections at your request, but we do not guarantee the condition of the vehicle, and the purchase is
made at your own risk.
A service charge is required to secure our services. Refunds of the deposit are subject to
deductions for search, bank, Paypal, and inspection fees. The service charge may change if the purchase value of the vehicle is over $15,000AUD. The customer will be informed prior to engagement if this is the case.
Vehicles above $15,000AUD:
Vehicles above $15,000AUD will require a deposit to proceed to the purchase stage. If you cancel pre-purchase, this deposit is fully refunded. If you cancel post-purchase, the deposit will be used to re-auction the vehicle and cover any expenses and losses incurred, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
Bid and Purchase Process:
Your decision to bid on a vehicle is based on available information and ultimately your choice. We will attempt to withdraw bids upon request, but if the bid cannot be withdrawn and is successful, you will be responsible for full payment. Should you choose to re-auction a vehicle after a successful bid, a cancellation fee and other associated costs will be charged.
Additional Costs:
You are responsible for any additional transportation and storage costs that may arise due to various factors, including vehicle location and shipping schedules. All payments for purchased vehicles must be made promptly as per the terms of the invoice. Delays in payment may incur additional charges.
Compliance and Import Regulations:
While we make every effort to advise on compliance matters, the ultimate responsibility for adhering to all import regulations relevant to your location lies with you, the customer. Kei Truck Imports Australia is not liable for conducting this research or guaranteeing compliance with these regulations.
Limitation of Liability:
We are not liable for issues beyond our control, including errors or damages caused by third parties, shipping schedules, and mechanical failures. Please be aware that vehicles often require cleaning and replacement of consumable items upon arrival. We advise taking care when starting the vehicle after a long period of inactivity to avoid damage.
Use of Images and Publicity:
We reserve the right to use photos of the vehicles for promotional purposes, ensuring customer privacy is maintained.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through mutual negotiation in good faith. Legal action, if necessary, will be under Queensland, Australia law in the appropriate court.
Severability and Modifications:
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, this will not affect the enforceability of any other part. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without notice.
